Italian giants AS Roma are set to complete the signing of French midfielder William Vainqueur from Dynamo Moscow, according to the latest reports.
The Giallorossi have agree a season-long loan worth €1 million, while they will have the option to make the transfer permanent for additional €3.5 million.
After the transfer was arranged on Friday, Vainqueur has arrived in Rome on Saturday morning and is currently undergoing a medical.
Roma decided to make a move on the Russian Premier League star after learning that midfielder Kevin Strootman would require a new surgery on his knee.
William Vainqueur, 26, has largely impressed since joining Dynamo from Standard Liege, scoring 2 goals in 28 league outings.
And if he continues with excellent performances, the highly rated footballer could soon break into the France national team.
