Mexico vs Paraguay Team News
Experienced defender Rafa Marquez returns to the squad. Marco Fabian has received a call-up as well, but the likes of Francisco Javier Rodriguez, Julio Dominguez and Aldo de Nigris have been left out of the Mexico Copa America squad, while Villarreal attacker Giovani dos Santos doesn’t want to play for the national team at the upcoming tournament in United States. Carlos Vela has been left out of the squad, but the likes of Candido Ramirez and Yasser Corona both made the cut.

The likes Justo Villar, Roque Santa Cruz and Paulo Da Silva all made Paraguay Copa America squad and they should play some part in Saturday’s friendly against Mexico. However, Ivan Piris, Victor Caceres, Raul Bobadilla, Antonio Sanabria and Lucas Barrios have been overlooked. Midfielder Richard Ortiz misses the tournament with a knee injury. Roberto Piris Da Motta and Blas Riveros have earned their first-time call-ups.

Quick Facts
- Mexico are after their fourth consecutive win over Paraguay
- La Tri are undefeated in previous 17 games in all competitions
- Paraguay recorded only one win in last five matches
- Ramon Diaz’s men recorded their last win over Mexico back in 2007
- Mexico scored ten goals in last three meetings with Paraguay
Mexico vs Paraguay Prediction
Both Mexico and Paraguay will take part at the 2016 Copa America Centenario and both teams have big ambitions for the tournament in United States. The Mexicans will be without their star players Carlos Vela and Giovani dos Santos in Saturday’s friendly against Paraguay, but coach Juan Carlos Osorio has a number of top-class players to choose from and I believe that La Tri will score in their penultimate warm-up game. Paraguay scored exactly two goals in each of their last three World Cup qualifying matches and there is every chance we will see goals galore in Atlanta.
Betting Tip: Both teams to score
Odds: 2.10 (11/10) @10Bet
