Juan Iturbe in Paraguay squad for Ecuador, Brazil

Bournemouth forward Juan Manuel Iturbe has been included in Paraguay squad for 2018 World Cup qualifiers against Ecuador and Brazil.

La Albirroja face Ecuador in Quito on 24 March before playing host to Brazil at Estadio Defensores del Chaco five days later.

Having taken seven points from first four fixtures, Paraguay will be looking to extend the good run and national team coach Ramon Diaz has now unveiled a 27-man list for said matches.

Juan Manuel Iturbe earns his first call-up after switching his allegiance from Argentina and he is expected to help improve the attacking department that only scored three goals so far.

Antonio Sanabria and Jorge Benitez return to the side after impressing at their respective clubs, while Olimpia full-back Blas Riveros gets the opportunity to win his first cap.

Coach Ramon Diaz will again be spoilt for options in the final third having included Roque Santa Cruz, Lucas Barrios, Hernan Perez and Derlis Gonzalez, although Nelson Haedo Valdez misses out.
