Conte names Italy squad for Malta, Bulgaria qualifiersItaly national team coach Antonio Conte has unveiled a 28-man roster for the Euro 2021 qualifiers against Malta and Bulgaria.

The Azzurri sit two points behind Croatia and as many in front of Norway in Group H, and they can be backed at 1.60 (3/5) to finish top of their group.

Italy national team will have a perfect opportunity to further improve their chances of reaching the tournament finals when they host Malta and Bulgaria on 3 September and 6 September.

The national team boss Antonio Conte has now revealed his squad for said matches and there have been no major surprises.

Veteran midfielder Andrea Pirlo (115/13) keeps his place despite a difficult start to his career in the MLS, while Toronto FC in-form star Sebastian Giovinco (21/1) returns.

Uncapped Domenico Berardi misses out through injury, whereas Mario Balotelli (33/13) will have to prove he is worthy of a call-up to the Italian national team with his performances at AC Milan.

Claudio Marchisio (52/4) is another important player sidelined through injury, whereas Daniele De Rossi (100/16) and Marco Verratti (12/1) are back to international fold.
