Udinese midfielder Alexander Merkel (1/0) misses out through a serious knee injury, but Konstantin Engel (9/0) and Kazbek Geteriyev return to the national team.

Taraz midfielder Almir Mulkhutdinov earns his maiden call, whereas Atyrau defender Berik Aytbayev is the other uncapped footballer in the squad for games vs Netherlands and Latvia.

Ajax starlet Anwar El Ghazi is in line to earn his first national team cap after he was named in the Netherlands squad for games against Kazakhstan and Czech Republic, with Rick Karsdorp another newcomer.

Arjen Robben, Stefan de Vrij and Kevin Strootman miss out through injury, whereas the likes of Daryl Janmaat, Davy Claasen and Quincy Promes were forced to withdraw.

Feyenoord winger Eljero Elia and Ajax hotshot Riechedly Bazoer have been drafted into the squad, which now contains no fewer than five uncapped footballers. The good news is there have been no new injury worries over the last couple of days.
